No horse experience is necessary to participate in a program at TEC.  Our programs are designed to introduce you to these gentle, loving animals in a safe and nurturing environment.  The horses and programs at TEC aid people living with disabilities to discover and maximize their individual potential while working toward their therapeutic goals and fostering greater independence.

 

TEC offers a variety of programs from therapeutic horseback riding lessons to in-class instruction.  All programs are led by an experienced and knowledgeable volunteer.  Riding lessons are held at the TEC barn in Buchanan (MI), which is a handicap accessible facility with an indoor and outdoor arena, and are led by an instructor who has been certified by PATH International.
